Charges of Tai Chi, Wushu or Qigong Classes at Tai Chi Academy of Wushu and Acupressure (2014)
Tai Chi Academy of Wushu and Acupressure (TCAWA) provides credit program and non-credit program. A lecturer or a professor at any college or university in USA will not check any homework of a student who joined a non-credit program and paid the same tuition as a credit program student. A student joined a non-credit program at TCAWA gets one months benefit as a credit program student in correction by a Master, an Instructor or an Assistant Instructor in classroom. The correction will be ended if he/she does not change his/her non-credit program to credit program.
TCAWA always keep teaching wushu, taijiquan or qigong on any government holidays except Christmas Holiday.
Definition of Dongzuo (动作): A basic dongzuo is defined as a simplest and a complete movement of a part of a human body in a three dimension space for attack or defense. It is usually called dongzuo instead of basic dongzuo.
Definition of Zhaoshi (招式): A zhaoshi is defined as a basic and a complete set of dongzuo according to the meaning of a traditional name of the zhaoshi, and it contain the both of attacking and defence. A zhaoshi is usually called a zhao (招) or a shi (式).
Definition of Taolu (套路): In continuous practice of Chinese Martial Arts, it is called practice of a taolu if it contains minimum eighteen zhaoshi from the beginning to the end. Sometimes, a taolu is called a lu (路) or a tao (套).
For example, Southern 48 Form Tai Chi Chuan contain 48 zhao and about 433 dongzuo. The Simplified Taijiquan has 24 shi. The Fourth Lu of Southern Taijiquan contain 64 zhao.
(A)Tuition
A person may choose payment by monthly, or by hour.
(A.1) Monthly payment per person
Definition: “Monthly payment” is only for a student who keeps continuous payment of monthly tuition.
Registration fee is $60. It will be $80 in 2015, and $100 in 2016.
A person has to pay registration fee again if he/she stops payment of one month or more. This is similar as a student has to pay registration fee at the first day of each semester at a university or a college.
(A.1.1) Normal Classes (16-25 people in a class)

(A.1.2) Very Small Classes (1-7 people in a class):

Presently, everybody gets great discount, being charged by “Normal Classes” (16-25 people in a class) instead of actual “Very Small Classes” (1-7 people in a class).
(A.2) Pay by hour per person. There is no registration fee for payment by hour.

(A.3) Private Lesson
(A.3.1) $200/hr. For beginners;
(A.3.2) $300 to $3,000 per hour for the Instructors.
An Advanced Instructor may learn a Taijiquan with 48 Zhao in one hour, and he/she can pass the Instructor Certificate Test. The tuition is between $300 and $3,000. If a beginner do it, his/her tuition of three hours per week will be $6,000 or more than $10,000 in 3 -6 years depending on his/her learning speed.
(B) Test Fee and Rules of Credit Program
(B.1) $4 per each zhao (招) or shi(式)for Basic Training or any wushu taolu (套路) for a Diploma test of the wushu taolu.
(B.2) $10 per zhao (招) or shi(式)of any wushu taolu (套路) for an Instructor Certificate test. It will be raised to $15 per zhao starting from 01/01/2015, and $20 per zhao starting from 01/01/2016.
Here, the Instructor Certificate of the wushu taolu is for his/her life time comparing with a lot of other Instructor Certificates are only used for one or two years. There is a sole production of DVD of his/her performance in the test may be bought by him/her only in $100. There is a part of slow motion in the DVD. It will help him/her for the whole life. The copy right of the original copy (mother copy) in the camcorder is owned by Yingzhang Wang.
(B.3) He/she waits for test time until he/she will be informed by Mr. Wang. He/she has three times of tests. He/she has to pass the test in a half year from the date of he/she paid the test fee. He/she has to pay test fee again if he/she failed all of three tests. Any student will automatically drop to non-credit program and receive no correction from Mr. Wang if he/she does not take any test in one month after Mr. Wang mentioned the test time is ready.
(B.4) Every test uses class time. Every student in credit program has to watch, make a comment and give the student in test a score. It is required as a part of courses of credit program. A qualified student after this training will be recommend to be a judge in an international competition of wushu.
(B.5) He/she will receive a Diploma of a taolu in test if he/she gets 60 or more score in 0-100 score system.
(B.6) A Certificate of Instructor of a taolu will be issued if he/she reaches all of the following requirements:
(B.6.1) He/she gets 85/100 or more score in normal way of a taolu test.
(B.6.2) He/she gets 70/100 or more score in a mirror way of the same taolu. It will be 75/100 score of normal way test and 60/100 score of a mirror way test for people being 60 or up.
(B.6.3) He/she passes Basic Training Test. There are no more than one zhaoshi of score being below 60/100.
For being 60 or more old, he/she should obtain 1,400/2,000 or more score in 20 basic zhaoshi (招式) present. His/her requirement is 2,100/3,000 or more score in 30 basic zhaoshi starting from 2015.
For younger than 60 years old, he/she should obtain 2,800/4,000 or more score in 40 basic zhaoshi (招式). His/her requirement is 4,200/6,000 or more score in 60 basic zhaoshi starting from 2015.
(B.6.4) He/she has to have 100 (400) hours teaching experience in practical teaching training program for Wushu Instructor with Level one (Level Two). There is no salary or bonus when he/she teaches for Yingzhang Wang. It is a training, a course, a part of class. He/she has to pay the tuition when he/she teaches for Yingzhang Wang. It is one of traditional Chinese culture and training way that an advance student volunteer teaches his/her a student of lower level for his/her instructor and pays the same tuition as in learning.
(B.6.5) His/her comments and score to other students in tests contain no basic problems.
(B.6.6) He/she has to know some basic information of the taolu.
There are nine levels of wushu/taijiquan/qigong Instructor. The 1st level Instructor is an entry-level. The ninth level is the highest level. The detail information of requirement about each level of wushu/taijiquan/qigong Instructor will be written in another article.
(C) Test Fee and Rules for non-students of TCAWA
The Diploma test fee is double as (B.1). The Instructor Certificate test fee is five times as (B.2). Any test is one chance instead of that a student of TCAWA has three chances to take the same test. The good news is that the rules of (B.6.3) and (B.6.4) are waived. The other rules are the same as (B).
(E.g.1) David is not a student of TCAWA. He learned The Simplified Taijiquan in other state. He wants to teach tai chi. His Diploma test fee will be $192. His test fee for an Instructor Certificate of the Simplified Taijiquan wili be $1,200 in 2014, $1,800 in 2015, and $2,400 in 2016.
