General Manager Assistant (Chinese/English Bilingual)

Fast growing online retailer in Cumming near GA400 exit 13 has an immediate opening for a General Manager Assistant position.


Primary responsibilities:

  • Assist General Manager in managing daily company operations to ensure a positive, safe and profitable working environment.

  • Ensure that employees follow the company standards, policies, and strategies.

  • Cooperate with the General Manager in recruiting, training, performance evaluation, promotions, and releasing the employees.

  • Coordinate with the General Manager in planning short and long term projects, budgets, expense controls, schedules, and manpower.

  • Process payroll by verifying all employee’s working hours, complete Attendance Report and apply PTO Hours as needed.

  • Process and complete employee’s H1B and PR Applications. Work closely with the company's attorney to ensure timely handling of all required documents. 

  • Manage employees' benefit plans, Health, Dental, Vision insurance, and 401K Retirement Plan.  Handle annual plan renewal and auditing requirements.

  • Handle new employee’s onboarding process.

  • Organize all company’s events, employee’s birthday celebrations and holiday parties.

  • Act as the liaison between employees and management.

  • Process all business related claims and act as the main contact for insurance adjuster and attorney.

  • Manage the relationship with external vendors and negotiate rates to control expenses.

  • Identify and manage office and warehouse repairs and maintenance promptly.

  • Prepare sales reports, and other reports related to financial, business, and administration matters.

  • Gather monthly business income and expenses data, update QuickBooks for CPA review.

  • Address operational, technical and mechanical issues in a timely manner.

  • Assist General Manager in other tasks in office management and business operations..


Requirements:

  • Must be able to speak Chinese fluently and read/write/speak English fluently

  • Bachelor degree is required

  • Attention to numbers, detailed, and good at routine works

  • Excellent skill in spreadsheet software such as Excel, Google Sheet

  • Two years of similar work experience are required.



Work hour and Pay Rate:

  • Monday - Friday, 8:30AM - 5:30PM

  • $22/hour to start with, $55K~$60K annually after probation period per experience.

  • Paid holidays and paid time off; Medical, Dental and Vision insurance; 401K Retirement Plan.

  • Friendly and casual working environment.

  • Full-time position and potential to grow into a management role. H1B Sponsorship can be arranged.

  • You must be comfortable with commuting to Cumming, GA to be considered for the position.
