玉犬辞旧岁，金猪迎新春。亚特兰大中国商会將于2月17日（星期日）晚六點在富丽华酒家（4825 Buford HWY NE，Chamblee GA 30341）举行年会，欢迎商会会员及各界人士踊跃参加。

亚特兰大中国商会于1992年创建，其宗旨为，促进华人在美开创和进行商务活动，通过经济、技术和文化交流活动来帮助加强美国与中国的关系，促进亚特兰大地区的中国文化活动。

年会邀请到了美国佐治亚州政府中国首席投资代表林新伟作主题演讲。

在美国获取工商管理硕士文凭后，林先生任美国美泰力克钢结构（亚太）公司营销总监及合伙人，在此期间，他将全球领先的美国钢结构产品及技术引入中国。1999年配合海尔集团设立第一家中资在美国的制造业企业，累计投资一亿多美元。2000年至今，林先生受聘代表美国佐治亚州及南卡州州政府，专门协助中国企业赴美投资，近年来促成了二十多亿美元投资，创造了5000多个美国当地就业机会。知名企业就有海尔集团，浙江科尔，江南化纤，中建材属下巨石集团，青岛森麒麟轮胎，运城制版，沃尔沃（吉利汽车控股）佳通轮胎等

林先生配合中国企业投资美国的成功案例获得全球多家权威媒体的关注，华尔街日报，华盛顿邮报，洛杉矶时报，《财经》等知名报刊都作了详细报道。 其中2010年5月24日，全球著名杂志《财富》更是以封面文章形式，图文并茂，介绍了林先生及其促成的成功投资案例。林先生是目前中美二地完成中国制造业在美国投资项目最多的一人。

林先生目前受聘美国佐治亚州担任州政府驻华投资首席代表。他同时担任美国各州驻华协会会长，该协会由美国30多个地方政府驻华代表机构发起成立，旨在推动中美双方省市之间建立更紧密的投资，贸易，旅游，教育文化等多方面的，长远的友好关系。

本次大會除了會長向大會作年度工作報告和財務理事作年度財務報告等議程外,还将选举新一届的理事會，以及幸運大抽獎，丰富多彩的奖品包括国际机票等。

多年来商会为亚特兰大华人社区举办了许多很有意义的活动，包括一年一度的春节文艺晚会。晚会不论从其规模上还是艺术水平而言在全北美都属最高，成为亚城和乔州旅美华人春节期间不可或缺的节目。参加年会的会员还可以享受到一张免费（面值$20）第二场春节文艺晚会的入场券。

The Chinese Business Association of Atlanta (CBAA) 2019 Annual Dinner Meeting will be held at the Canton House restaurant (4825 Buford HWY NE，Chamblee GA 30341) at 5:30 pm on Sunday, February 17, 2019.  You are cordially invited to join this event and the CBAA membership.

We have invited John Ling, Managing Director for Investment for State of Georgia in China, to be the keynote speaker at the meeting.

John Ling is a Chinese native and a naturalized US citizen. He received his MBA from Charleston Southern University in Charleston, South Carolina.

After graduating, Mr. Ling worked as managing director for a U.S./China joint venture, Metallic Building Systems (Asia) Inc.  He worked with home appliances maker-Haier, to set up the first Chinese-owned green-field manufacturing operation in the US in 1999. He moved to Shanghai in 2005 to open South Carolina’s first office in China, with main responsibilities to recruit Chinese investment to South Carolina. Over the years, Mr. Ling has brought over $2 billion international investment projects to southeast USA region. He has received numerous interviews by Fortune, LA Times, Washington Post, BBC Worldwide and Wall Street Journal. Most recently, CNBC did a one-on-one interview with Mr. Ling to share his insights about Chinese investment in the US.

In August 2015, Mr. Ling has been retained by the state of Georgia as its managing director for investment in China. Mr. Ling also currently serves as president of Council of American States in China
