春游活动通知
各位亲爱的复旦校友:
冬去春来,在这万物复苏的春天里,佐治亚州复旦大学(暨上海医科大学)校友会定于2016年4月17日上午十一点至下午三点在Lanier 湖(Lake Lanier)举行春游校友联谊聚会,尽情享受湖水,沙滩,欢乐时光和校友交流,增进友谊,增强校友感情!此次活动是理事会改选,贾涛新当选为会长后组织的首次集体活动,我们真诚欢迎校友们,家人及亲朋好友踊跃报名参加,并为大家准备了许多有趣的活动。活动具体内容如下:
时间:2016年4月17日(周日)11:00am -3:00pm
地点:Lanier Park Pavilion @ Lanier Park. 1360 Buford Dam Road, Buford, GA.(公园停车费$5/辆。鼓励大家carpool)
聚会供应:饮料、餐具、纸巾等。校友每家携带一盘或数盘拿手菜或者水果、点心分享(够自家的量)。聚会备有BBQ的炉子,请大家酌情带些烧烤的食品.
活动内容:聚餐烧烤,聊天社交,游戏,健康讲座,水上活动,和钓鱼等;

健康讲座专家介绍
乔玉生医生82年(77级)毕业于上医公共卫生系,曾任上海市疾病控制中心(CDC)传染性流行病科病毒组医师,及南市区街道医院中医针灸科针灸医师。95年赴美后,先后通过了全美针灸考试和中药考试。现为乔治亚州执照针灸医师和乔治亚州中华针灸医师协会会长。

From Hwy 400
- Take 400 North to exit 14
- Take Hwy 20 East toward Buford
- Turn left at 2nd traffic light onto Sanders Road
- Turn right on Buford Dam Rd
- Take approx. 7 ½ - 8 miles
- After crossing the Dam, continue past the Lanier Proj. Mgmt. office, the Dam Store and East Bank Park
- Take first left after Dam Store into Lanier Park, when you see the “Lanier Park” sign.
From I-85
- Take 85 to Exit 111, Lawrenceville – Suwanee Road, turn left
- Continue approx. 10 miles through several traffic lights
- Turn right on Buford Dam Rd.
- Take first left into Lanier Park, when you see the “Lanier Park” sign.
From I-985
- Take 85 to 985 North
- Take exit 4 and turn left onto Hwy 20 west toward Cumming
- Continue on hwy 20 approx. 7 miles through several traffic lights
- Turn right on Suwanee Dam Rd.
- Turn right on Buford Dam Rd.
- Take the first left into Lanier Park, when you see the “Lanier Park” sign.
Lanier Park lies just north of Buford Dam on Lake Sidney Lanier. The site features beautiful views of the lake as well as excellent access to swimming, picnicking and boating.
The lake, named for the poet, Sidney Lanier, is well known for its aqua-blue colored water, spectacular scenery and variety of recreational activities. Each year, over 7.5 million people come to visit.
Lake Lanier boasts 38,000 surface acres, 690 miles of shoreline and over 100 small islands. Its location in the forested foothills of the Georgia Blue Ridge Mountains, makes for a beautiful backdrop to any activity.
Visitors can access the Laurel Ridge Hiking Trail from multiple locations and parks. The trail is a 3.5 mile loop that offers great views of the lake and Chattahoochee River. Fisherman can expect to catch a variety of species including bass, catfish and panfish. Activities include fishing, swimming, wake boarding, kayaking and hiking.
Lanier Park offers access to a designated swim beach, picnic areas and restrooms.
Nearby attractions include boat ramps, other USACE parks, and Lake Lanier Islands.
