Will Asian Americans make a difference in 2012 election?

Atlanta, GA- Asian Americans are the fastest growing in the Southeast*. Will the emerging Asian Americans in the South make an impact in the 2012 election? CPACS “Rock the South” campaign goal is to educate, register, engage, and mobilize Asian Americans in the deep south to vote in the 2012 Election.

CPACS will be hosting a Media Briefing for media to learn about the political power landscape of minorities in the south, with a particular focus on Asian Americans.

• Why the South is becoming a major force for change;
• Why both Democrats and Republicans’ National Convention is held in the South;  
• What are the opportunities to engage the communities; and
• How can Together Empowering Asian Americans (TEA) Walk** 2012 bring communities together to vote?
