GAVE LECTURES IN SHANGHAI UNIVERSITY OF TCM
 
Dr. Angela C Liu, famous integrative sports medicine / acupuncture physician based in Atlanta, and former sports medicine doctor (MD)/acupuncture physician for world champion athletes, has successfully gave lecture in Shanghai University of TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) on November 18, 2011. This is the first time that Atlanta acupuncture physician gave lecture in the Chinese university.
The Shanghai University of TCM was established in 1956. It was the one of four largest TCM universities in China. The university has trained many foreign students. The school also operates 6 big hospitals, where professors and student interns treat patients from the public.
Liu's first time lecture in this school was in Oct. 2009. She held a series of lectures in English on “Integrative Sports Medicine in the US”. There were over 1,000 students including over 100 foreign students participated in the lectures. After the lectures Dr. Liu accepted award presented by the university's Vice-President Dr. Liu-Ping.
This November, Liu gave an another lecture on “ TCM (traditional Chinese medicine) in The US “. This time, participants consisted of professors and teachers from the university and other universities all over the country. Liu impressed her audience again with her lively teaching and more than two decades of medical and teaching experiences in the US.
Liu was an extraordinary immigrant to the US. She passed international English TOEFL & GRE Tests 20 years ago in Beijing, China, then, she got scholarships from the U. S. Sports Academy and earned Master’s degree in sports medicine in 1994.
Liu was the first scholar attended the World Championships of Bodybuilders for Doping Test in Madrid, Spain, 1987; Liu was the first awarded World Silver Medal Integrative Sports Medicine Physician by IFBB - the International #6 large sports organization which includes over 130 counties memberships in the world. Liu had been visiting professor teaches acupuncture in European counties, and she was the first Integrative sports medicine doctor had been picture with the China National President Li, Xian-Nian during her lecture in Paris, French in 1987. Liu had been worked for world champion athletes for about 20 years; after earned Master’s degree in sports medicine in the US, Liu worked in hospital and MD’s clinic. She practices integrative sports medicine / acupuncture to treat patients. Liu is Licensed Acupuncture Physician by US National Board – NCCAOM, and Florida medical board for many years, as well as Georgia medical board.
Liu applies Integrative sports medicine / Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine to treat common illness, difficult diseases, specializing in sports injury, auto accidents and joint pain. Many patients came to Liu's therapy and enjoyed great improvement after Western medicine had failed on them. Liu was reported by US all major news media in 7 kinds of languages to the world.
