2011年10月8日,由泛美社区服务中心( CPACS)组织的第七届团结亚裔游行活动( TEA Walk)在百福大道顺利举行。参加这次活动的除了泰国,朝鲜,越南等亚裔,也包括部分美国人。人们穿上红色的T恤,排着队伍,整齐地走在百福大道上,远远地望去,这一片红色的长队真是引人侧目。
泛美社区服务中心为参加游行的人们免费提供了苹果、香蕉等水果,还有免费的午餐。今年的团结亚裔游行活动( TEA Walk)旨在倡导家庭第一,健康第一的理念,希望通过游行的方式能够让所有的亚裔人们团结起来,争取自己应得的权利,为自己的美好生活而奋斗。
The Center for Pan Asian Community Services (CPACS) along with the Asian Pacific Islander Health Forum sponsored the sixth annual Together Empowering Asian Americans (TEA) Walk on October 8, 2011 in Atlanta . The TEA Walk celebrates the growing Asian American community and its contributions to Atlanta . It is the largest walk of its kind in the South.
