中華學人基金會 (CAPASUS Foundation, Inc.) 新聞稿
美東南區中華學人協會為一促進學術研究的專業團體，為鼓勵美東南區華裔學生學術研究風氣及提供論文發表的機會，美東南區中華學人協會所屬的中華學人基金會將於2011年7月29-31日在中華學人協會的亞特蘭大年會中舉辦第2屆學術論文比賽.
今年的學術論文比賽將擴充為高中生(High school)、大學生(Undergraduate)及研究生(Graduate)三個組別，凡入選並於年會發表之高中生及大學生論文均可獲 certificate。關於研究生部份，凡入選並於年會發表之論文均可獲 $100獎助金，研究生論文比賽將甄選優勝者數名，最高至少可獲 $500之獎學金。
有興趣申請的學生請於6月15日之前將申請表及論文摘要 email至 Dr. Yen-Con Hung 洪延康教授 (yhunguga@gmail.com)、Dr. Fred Chiou 邱耀輝博士 (fredchiou@yahoo.com) 以及 Dr. Willie Chen 陳英偉醫師 (corneachen@gmail.com)。

The Chinese-American Academic and Professional Association in Southeastern United States (CAPASUS) is a professional association for promoting communication and professional network for Chinese-American living in the Southeastern United States. CAPASUS Foundation, Inc is a non-profit, tax-exempted Foundation funded by the CAPAS US to help young Chinese-Americans on their professional development. Every year, CAPASUS Foundation sponsors an annual student paper competition during the CAPASUS annual meeting. The 2nd annual student paper competition will be held on July 30th, 2011 in Atlanta. This year, the competition will expand to three categories. (high school, college undergraduate and graduate student paper competitions). Accepted poster papers will have a chance to present and compete at the 2011 CAPASUS annual meeting. All accepted high school and college undergraduate students will receive certificates. Accepted graduate student will each receive $100 scholarship plus the chance to compete for best paper award and a cash price of at least $500.
Application and abstract forms can be found on CAPASUS web site (www.capasus.org) under “2011 CAPASUS Foundation Poster Paper Application.” Please send application form and abstract to Professor Yen-Con Hung (yhunguga@gmail.com) and copy to Dr. Fred Chiou (fredchiou@yahoo.com) and Dr. Willie Chen (corneachen@gmail.com) by 5 pm on June 15, 2011.
