You’ll probably feel the breeze when the cool, contemporary jazz of saxophonist Albright fills the air. Silversun Pickups, Against Me
Los Angeles quartet Silversun Pickups churns out a mighty psychedelic roar tempered by the occasional moment of quiet beauty. Against Me’s “Thrash Unreal” was one of the catchiest tales of a descent into drug addiction ever crafted, and the rest of the band’s “New Wave” album was pretty amazing, too. The Gainesville, Fla.-born group just followed that 2007 major label debut with “White Crosses,” released earlier this month.

Chris Barron
Remember “Little Miss Can’t Be Wrong” or the Top 10 hit “Two Princes”? Those two early ’90s radio staples were sung by Barron as the frontman for New York quartet the Spin Doctors. He headlines this week’s edition of the Unplugged in the Park series. With Trees Leave.

Travis Tritt
