SATURDAY

Music: A touch of New Orleans comes to Atlanta’s Chastain Park Amphitheater as Harry Connick Jr. and his Orchestra perform at 8 p.m.

Outdoors: Get a bird’s-eye view in a Treetop Excursion, an introductory climb that takes place on the third Saturday of every month at Panola Mountain State Park in Stockbridge beginning at 1 p.m.

Festival: Stone Mountain Village Arts & Crafts Festival includes the 4th annual Grillin’ in the Village BBQ Festival. 10 a.m. at Stone Mountain Village.

Festival: Atlanta Steampunk Festival centers around a genre of literature and speculation which sees the world through a Victorian aesthetic and has a deep appreciation of the evolution of technology imagined by such authors as H.G. Wells. 10 a.m. June 19-20 at the Academy Theatre, Avondale Estates.

Music: Rap and R&B share the stage at radio station Hot 107.9’s Birthday Bash 15. 6 p.m.  at Philips Arena,  Atlanta.

Festival: Red Stripe MidSummer Music Festival is headlined by the Wailers and Better Than Ezra (and, of course, Red Stripe beer).  The music at the free fest begins at noon in Candler Park, Atlanta.

For grown-ups: “The Future of Tomorrow” is Blast-Off Burlesque’s science fiction-inspired burlesque and vaudeville show. 7:30 and 10 p.m. at 7 Stages Theater in Little Five Points, Atlanta.

Music: Smooth, R&B-tinged jazz fills the air at the Mable House Barnes Amphitheatre as Gerald Albright and friends take the stage. 6 p.m. at the Mableton outdoor stage.

SUNDAY

Stage: The True Colors Theatre Company’s production of August Wilson’s “Jitney” is at the Woodruff Arts Center, Atlanta. 404-588-0308, truecolorstheatre.org.

For families: Real Men Cook, the 21st annual Father’s Day food-tasting is set to include entertainment from Ruben Studdard, Cherelle and Melvin Miller. 3 p.m. at the Georgia Railroad Depot

Music: Chris Barron, frontman from the Spin Doctors, plays as part of the Unplugged in the Park series. 7 p.m. Free. Park Tavern, Atlanta.
