AARP Offers Smart Driver Course for Mandarin Speakers

AARP is offering a Smart Driver course for Mandarin speakers to refresh their driving skills. As a course participant, you will learn the current rules of the road, defensive driving techniques, and how to operate your vehicle more safely in today's increasingly challenging driving environment. You'll also learn how you can manage and accommodate common age-related changes in vision, hearing and reaction time.

The AARP Smart Driver course, offered by AARP Driver Safety, is the nation’s first and largest refresher course designed especially for drivers age 50 and older. Course participants learn the current rules of the road, defensive driving techniques, and how to operate their vehicle more safely in today's increasingly challenging driving environment. Participants also learn how to manage and accommodate common age-related changes in vision, hearing and reaction time. Additionally, participants who complete the course may be able to qualify for a multi-year automobile insurance discount, and should consult their insurance agent for details.
