美東南玉山科技有鑑於電子產品汰舊換新日益頻繁，訂於二月七日星期六上午十時起假亞特蘭大僑教中心設立電子垃圾回收站，協助僑胞處理廢棄電子電器用品的回收。

隨著科技的進步，電子產品已經是生活的一部分。廢棄的電子用品若處理不當，可能造成環境嚴重污染，影響甚巨。玉山科技理事長李玲表示，今年玉山主旨提倡環保，希望藉電子垃圾回收的活動，幫助僑胞處理廢物，循環再造回收物料，減低環境污染，並鼓勵僑胞參與進而提高廢物回收循環再造的意識。

凡家中有廢棄不用的電子用品，可於二月七日上午十時至下午二時帶到中國城後，僑教中心前停車場，交由玉山義工處理回收。玉山科技也提醒僑胞，棄置電腦、手機、硬碟等物品前，請確認清除所有個人資料、檔案等資訊。僑教中心地址：5377 New Peachtree Rd, Chamblee, GA, 30341. 聯絡電話：6786404934

Monte Jade Association sponsors eWaste Recycling event on 2/7/2015

Nowadays, the electronic products are becoming obsolete more quickly. To help out the Chinese community in Atlanta, Monte Jade Science Technology Association in Southeastern US (MJSTASE) is sponsoring an eWaste Recycling event on 2/7/2017, 10am – 2pm.

The purposes of the event are to increase the awareness of electronic recycling as well as protect our environment from toxic materials pollution, the Chair of MJSTASE Sharleen Wong said.

For those are interested, please bring your recycle items to Chinese Cultural Center (5377 New Peachtree Rd, Chamblee, GA 30341) on Saturday 2/7/2015 between 10am and 2pm.  Please make sure all the personal data are deleted from your computers/phones/laptops before bringing to recycling, Sharleen kindly reminds everyone.
